Product Overview :
This is an ultra-high-purity external DC power supply developed and designed exclusively for Cybershaft products.
The previous model, the LTPW02, has been thoroughly improved to achieve specifications that further improve sound quality.
It uses an ultra-low-noise secondary power supply circuit with six LT3045 next-generation linear regulators connected in parallel.
By using a separate power supply enclosure, it is possible to completely eliminate the immeasurable vibrations and electromagnetic waves that arise from the AC power supply inside the OCXO unit.
You can choose from two designs: with or without a cast material front panel, to suit your clock model.
*The only difference between the LTPW03 and LTPW03P is whether or not the acrylic front panel is included. Performance is the same.
Features:
The secondary power supply filter circuit uses the next-generation LT3045 linear regulator, boasting ultra-low noise and ultra-high PSRR. Six LT3045s are configured in a parallel configuration to operate under the ultimate conditions. This two-stage power supply design thoroughly refines the power that passes through the primary power supply circuit in the secondary filter circuit.
The lead wires of the custom-made, large-scale R-core transformer used in this unit, which has extremely low magnetic flux leakage, use precision conductor "102 SSC." The primary power supply is a proven linear power supply that employs SiC Schottky barrier diodes, large-capacity low-ESR capacitors, and OSCONs. 102SSC is also used for the internal wiring.
The output is equipped with two ITT XLR-4P connectors, allowing for future connection to expansion devices such as distributors. (Two units cannot be connected to an OCXO product simultaneously.)
Three lengths of 14-gauge, extra-thick oxygen-free copper cable are available. Keep this unit as far away from the OCXO as possible.
The internal circuit board uses a 70μm thick copper foil board, which is twice the usual thickness.
You can choose from two front panel designs: one with no acrylic panel on the front to match the design of 4/6 output clock products, and one with an acrylic panel on the front to match the design of 2 output clock products.

Ultra-low noise and ultra-high PSRR linear power supply :
Equipped with a six-unit parallel circuit that maximizes the performance of the new generation linear regulator LT3045.
The primary power supply is followed by a two-stage power supply circuit featuring the ultra-high PSRR LT3045. Six LT3045s are paralleled to achieve extremely low self-noise. In conjunction with the six LT3045 devices in the OCXO itself, this synergistically enables the delivery of an extremely pure power supply.
Connecting multiple LT3045s in parallel reduces the device's self-semiconductor noise.

Furthermore, using two stages of six parallel LT3045s achieves a ripple rejection ratio (PSRR) of over 100dB.
Option: LTPW03 (P) dedicated connection cable:
A 14-gauge oxygen-free copper OFC extra-thick lead wire is used for the connection cable. Use NEUTRIC's XLR4P for the plug and RS478-820 with a lock recommended by us for the OCXO / distributor side.
It is desirable to keep the unit as far away from the OCXO main unit as possible. However, the effect of noise induced in the DC cable cannot be ignored if the distance is too large. We have prepared three types of carefully selected DC connection cables as an option.
