Building on the success and data of our previous models, we are confident in recommending this feature-rich flagship model. Equipped with 4 outputs, it is designed to support systems that require multiple 10MHz inputs, such as single DAC systems and hubs.

We have selected and integrated only the most stable units from new OCXO units that underwent long-term calibration. We utilize a super-low noise, ultra-high PSRR secondary power circuit that incorporates three next-generation linear regulators, LT3045. It achieves an impressive low phase noise of -121dBc/Hz (@offset 1Hz OP21A).

Features:

・This product utilizes a brand new OCXO, chosen specifically for its outstanding stability achieved through long-term calibration.

・The OCXO unit is securely housed within a robust BOX, crafted with anti-magnetic plates and thermal shielding boards, ensuring the utmost performance of the OCXO is harnessed.

・Perfect for equipment configurations like single DACs and HUBs that require multiple clock signals, it is equipped with four convenient outputs. Each channel can be set to either 50Ω or 75Ω impedance. (Utility model registered)

・You can set each channel's output GND potential to either connect to the body's GND or be isolated (insulated). This offers meticulous adaptability to the diverse and intricate GND procedures unique to different audio systems. (Utility model registered)

・The clock's output level can be toggled between 1.6Vp-p and 3.0Vp-p via a switch, making it universally compatible with almost all audio equipment. 

・Features an LED monitor that indicates the oven circuit's operational status, ensuring the OCXO unit's temperature is consistently managed.

・The DC supplied from the external power source undergoes rigorous noise elimination via the ultra-low noise, high PSRR, next-gen linear regulator - the LT3045, in a triple configuration.

・The internal circuit board employs a copper foil that's twice the standard thickness at 70μm. After numerous tests and evaluations, the internal layout has been refined to perfection.

・The chassis bottom boasts a solid vibration-damping structure, combining 2mm-thick aluminum with a 3mm-thick pure copper plate for a total thickness of 5mm. For stability on any surface, we've adopted a three-point support system made from aluminum die-casting. There's also an option to replace with spike insulators using 4mm screws.

・Using high-precision calibrated measuring instruments, we meticulously assess the characteristics. Each unit comes with a plotted phase noise and Allan variance, ensuring the clock's quality.

Output GND Insulation / Enclosure GND Selection Function:

Choose between two grounding configurations for the output GND: insulation from chassis GND or connection to housing GND. Using a common ground for the output GND can lead to ground loop noise, especially when multiple devices are interconnected. To combat this, it's typically preferable to insulate each output's GND. Yet, in some systems where devices have consistent grounding, grounding the output GND to the housing GND might yield superior noise resistance. Given the diverse audio environments, select the option best suited for yours. This device also includes a terminal for housing GND on its base plate.

External DC Power Supply:

This unit exclusively utilizes an external DC power source. Ensure you have an external DC power supply ready. While we vouch for our dedicated LTPW01 power supply, any linear power supply meeting our specifications will suffice. The required DC specifications range from 13.5V to 16V at 1A. For the plug, a standard 2.1 mm / 5.5 mm DC plug works, but for a secure connection, consider the screwable [RS product 487-820] plug. (RS products are globally available. [RS WORLD WIDE])

OCXO Characteristic Selection Value:

Our product features an OCXO unit, stabilized and calibrated over several months, ensuring optimal performance as an audio clock. We don't simply gauge the built-in OCXO unit's output characteristics. Our rigorous calibration measures from the product's output terminal, providing a holistic view, inclusive of the buffer circuit's performance.

* We have changed the previously announced reference value for each grade to the selection value actually used by us and released it. All products already sold are shipped with the OP selection values in this table.

-The OP21E-D specifications are positioned as intermediate characteristics between OP21A and OP20A.
As in [1] and [2], either PN or ADEV meets the OP21A specification value.
The overall characteristics are almost the same for both [1] and [2]. [1] or [2] cannot be specified.

OP grade guarantee card :

An "OP grade certificate" with hologram is always attached to each OP grade product.
A tamperproof sticker is attached in the center. A hologram is printed on the right edge. In addition, a hologram sheet with the serial number described in the option grade certificate will be attached to the OCXO unit inside the main unit. Please be sure to check when purchasing for second use.
