This product is designed for use with an external DC power supply only.
You will need to provide an external DC power supply that meets the specifications of this product.
Recommended external DC power supply products are "LTPW01/02/03/05/06".
A DC cable is not included with this product.
Please purchase it separately as an option.
If you are already using an OCXO product with LTPW01/02/03/05/06, you can supply power from the second DC output terminal of the LTPW0x. In that case, please purchase only the dedicated DC cable separately.
If you are providing your own external DC power supply, please use a linear power supply with 14V to 17V, 0.3A (or higher).

This signal distributor can distribute all of our OCXO-grade high-precision 10MHz signals to four outputs with virtually no loss of characteristics.
It features four outputs, making it suitable for situations where multiple clock signals are required in equipment configurations such as single DACs or hubs. Each output can be set to either 50 ohms or 75 ohms impedance. (Utility model registered)
The output/input GND potential can be set to either connect to the main unit's GND or isolated. This allows for precise handling of the complex GND processing that differs for each audio system. (Utility model registered)
The input signal is compatible with all levels output from all of our clock products. Input impedance is switchable between 50 ohms and 75 ohms.
Output gain can be selected between 0dB (voltage ratio 1x) or +4dB (voltage ratio 1.58x).
DC supplied from an external DC power supply is regulated to a clean 12V by six LT3045 transistors in parallel and supplied to the circuit.

About the output impedance 50Ω / 75Ω switching function :
Audio equipment's external 10MHz clock input impedance is divided into 50Ω and 75Ω products. While 50Ω is common in measuring instruments, audio equipment often uses a 75Ω input impedance for its word clock, and therefore the external 10MHz input is also frequently 75Ω. Impedance matching is effective in preventing reflected waves, so it's best to match the impedance of your audio equipment's external clock input.
Output GND insulation / chassis GND selection function :
The output GND potential can be switched between "insulated from the chassis GND" and "housing GND". If the output GND of this unit is grounded in common, when multiple devices are connected, the GND potential difference of each device will flow through the GND of the connection cable, causing noise called a GND loop. Therefore, it is usually better to insulate the GND of each output for better noise resistance. Depending on the system you are using, the GND of each device may be firmly grounded. If there is no GND potential difference between these devices, it may be better to have the output GND grounded to the chassis GND to obtain better results against noise.
Since the environment of the audio system is various, you can choose the most suitable method according to your own environment. The bottom plate of this machine is equipped with a housing GND terminal.
